Hadlow College becomes a GTC Quality Assured Centre
The Greenkeepers Training Committee is pleased to welcome Hadlow College, Kent into its Quality Assured Scheme.
David Golding, GTC's Education Director, in announcing Hadlow College as a GTC Quality Assured Centre, acknowledged the dedication of the turf team at the college, all of whom have excellent experience, knowledge and connections within the golf greenkeeping sector.
David added, the greenkeeping apprenticeship scheme has proved very successful for both golf club employers and the apprentices and the turf team at Hadlow also continues to work to deliver education at all levels including courses and workshops for deputies, head greenkeepers and course managers.
Listening to employers, course managers and learners requirements is very much at the heart of Hadlow Colleges turf provision and it is so important that Centres look at flexible delivery, including online, part-time, specialist workshops and seminars.
Anthony Stockwell, Sport's turf assessor added "We are delighted to have re-affirmed our relationship with the GTC. This is part of Hadlow's on-going vision for quality delivery of education and commitment to the greenkeeping industry"
