Nick Bisset

It is with great sadness that the GTC announces the sudden death of Nick Bisset.

Nick has been the Chairman of the GTC's Technical Committee in recent years but his whole career has been dedicated to the horticulture and sports turf sectors.

Greenkeeper education and training was his true passion and from his work at the STRI to Head of Horticulture at Askham Bryan College, his leadership and guidance on all matters greenkeeping has been an inspiration to so many.

David Golding, GTC's Education Director adds, "Nick was a true and personal friend but even more, a great character and friend to many greenkeepers and the wider horticultural industry".

"Nick will be sadly missed by all who knew him and our thoughts are with his wife Pat and children and grandchildren"
